Script Settings
Script Settings
The Script Settings panel lets you configure how your screenplay is formatted, numbered, and displayed. Settings apply to the currently selected script and are saved automatically.
Prerequisites
- Admin permissions are required to access script settings.
Accessing Settings
Open the settings panel from:
- The gear icon in the episode panel footer (desktop).
- The Settings button in the script header.
On desktop, the panel opens as a side panel. On mobile, it opens as a bottom sheet.
Layout

- A4 — Standard international paper size.
- Letter — US standard (8.5” x 11”).
- Legal — US legal size (8.5” x 14”).

| Lowercase Roman | i, ii, iii… |
| Uppercase Roman | I, II, III… |

Scene Numbering
Toggle scene numbering on or off. When enabled, the same options are available as page numbering (Number Mode, Start From, Formatting).
Apply to All Scenes
Click “Apply to All Scenes” to renumber every scene in the script using the current settings. A confirmation dialog appears:
- Title: “Renumber Scenes”
- Warning: “This will renumber all scenes in the script.”
- Click “Renumber” to proceed or “Cancel” to abort.
Display
Highlight Revised Text
Toggle highlighting of revised text on or off. When enabled, text changes between revisions are visually marked in the script body.
Tips
- Changes to margins and numbering settings persist on focus-lost (when you click away from the field), not on every keystroke.
- Margin values are automatically clamped to the 0.0–3.0 inch range.
- The “Apply to All Scenes” action cannot be undone in bulk — renumber carefully.
- Courier Prime is the recommended font for industry-standard screenplay formatting.
