Billing and Subscriptions

SceneItAll uses a credit wallet to meter AI usage. You can subscribe to a tier plan for recurring credits or purchase additional credits as needed. Billing is managed through Stripe.

Beta note: SceneItAll is currently in free beta. Paid plans and credit purchases may not be active for your account yet — if you don’t see any plans or a billing tab, billing hasn’t been enabled for you.

Accessing Billing

Click your avatar in the top bar and open Profile settings. Switch to the Billing tab to see:

  • Your current subscription tier and status
  • Subscription credits and purchased credits remaining
  • A Manage subscription button (opens the Stripe Customer Portal when configured)
  • One-off credit purchase options
  • Recent wallet transaction history

On web, you can also visit Choose a plan (/billing/subscribe) to start a new subscription.

Subscription Tiers

Tier plans (for example Pro and Studio) define:

  • Monthly subscription credits (reset each billing cycle)
  • Project caps and other entitlements

Available tiers and prices are loaded from the platform — if no plans appear, contact your administrator.

How Credits Work

AI features (element detection, continuity checking, synopsis generation, translation, and similar jobs) consume credits when they run.

  • Subscription credits are included with your plan and reset each billing period.
  • Purchased credits are bought separately and do not expire when your subscription renews.
  • When a job runs, credits are deducted from subscription credits first, then purchased credits.

If your balance is low, you will see a notification and may be blocked from starting new AI jobs until you add credits or renew your subscription.

Subscribing

  1. Open Choose a plan from profile settings or navigate to /billing/subscribe.
  2. Pick a tier and click Subscribe.
  3. You are redirected to Stripe Checkout to enter payment details.
  4. After success, you are returned to SceneItAll and your wallet is updated via webhook.

Managing Your Subscription

From the Billing tab, click Manage subscription to open the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:

  • Update payment method
  • View invoices
  • Cancel or change plans (when enabled by your administrator)

Tips

  • Billing is web-only at launch — mobile apps show a placeholder until billing is enabled on those platforms.
  • Project owners and admins should monitor credit usage before running large batch jobs (for example, translating an entire script).
  • Per-report email delivery does not consume AI credits; only AI agentic workflows do.
