Billing and subscriptions

SceneItAll is free during launch. Every production module is included, no payment card is required, and new accounts receive 200 starter credits for AI features. We will announce future pricing before anything changes, and you will not be charged automatically.

Billing and credits are tied to your user account, not to a single project. Your credit wallet is shared across every project you own.

Open your billing and credits

Select your avatar in the top bar, choose Profile Settings, then open the Billing tab. It shows:

  • Your Free launch-access status and total credit balance.
  • A free-launch notice in place of purchase controls.
  • Transaction History for starter grants and AI usage.

You can also open Billing by selecting the credit-balance badge in the top bar.

How credits work

Credits pay for AI features that read and interpret your script: script breakdown (scene splitting), continuity checking, element detection, synopsis generation, and translation. These features charge 1 credit per scene processed, and the cost is shown before you start. Conflict detection, prep timing, call sheets, sides, and other reports use no credits.

New accounts receive a one-time grant of 200 starter credits. Credits belong to your account and can be used across every project you own. A project member can spend your credits only when an admin gives them permission — see Roles and permissions.

If your balance is too low, SceneItAll shows Insufficient Credits and blocks that AI job. Core production tools remain available. Credit purchases are paused during free launch.

Free-launch access

  • Every module is available at no recurring charge.
  • There is no Subscribe button or credit-purchase card during free launch.
  • Opening /billing/subscribe returns you safely to the dashboard.
  • SceneItAll will announce future pricing before paid offers become available.
  • You will not be charged unless you actively choose and confirm a future paid offer.

Existing paid accounts can still use Manage subscription to reach Stripe for invoices, payment-method updates, or cancellation. Existing subscription status and webhook updates continue normally.

Transaction history

The Transaction History card lists recent wallet activity, newest first:

  • AI Usage — credits spent running an AI job.
  • Grant — credits added by SceneItAll, including starter or complimentary credits.
  • Purchase and Refund — historical activity for accounts that used billing before free launch.
