Notifications

SceneItAll notifies you about important events through the notification dropdown in the top bar.

Accessing Notifications

Click the bell icon in the top bar. If you have unread notifications, a red badge shows the count.

The dropdown opens showing your notifications in reverse chronological order (newest first).

Notification Content

Each notification shows:

  • Unread indicator — A green dot on unread notifications.
  • Title — Bold if unread, regular weight if read. What happened.
  • Body (optional) — Additional detail.
  • Time — How long ago (e.g., “just now”, “5 minutes ago”, “2 hours ago”, “3 days ago”).
  • Dismiss button — An X to delete the notification.

Notification Types

You’ll receive notifications for:

  • Project invitations — Someone invited you to join a project.
  • Submissions — A new submission was made on a form or proposal you follow (covers AI job completion and proposals-ready alerts — clicking a proposal-related notification opens the proposal review dialog directly).
  • Mentions — Someone @mentioned you in a comment.
  • Likes — Someone liked one of your comments.
  • Credit warnings — Your project’s AI credit balance is running low.
  • System announcements — Platform-wide notices from SceneItAll.

Actions

Reading Notifications

Click a notification to mark it as read. If it’s a proposal notification, clicking opens the proposal review dialog directly.

Mark All as Read

Click “Mark all as read” in the dropdown header to clear all unread indicators at once. This link only appears when you have unread notifications.

Dismissing

Click the X button on any notification to delete it permanently.

Tips

  • The red badge count on the bell icon gives you a quick glance at unread items without opening the dropdown.
  • Proposal notifications are actionable — clicking them takes you straight to the review dialog, saving you from navigating there manually.
