Cast Info Sheet

Cast Info Sheet

The Cast Info Sheet pulls together everything the wardrobe, makeup, and AD departments need about each cast member: measurements, wardrobe and makeup elements, shooting days, and special requirements. It’s the printed reference you’d pin in the wardrobe trailer or hand to a new HOD on day one.

Generating a Cast Info Sheet

  1. Open Reports and click the Cast Info tab.
  2. Pick All Cast from the cast dropdown to render every cast member, or pick an individual cast member to see just that person.
  3. The sheet renders with header card, measurements, and per-department sections.

What’s on the Sheet

For each cast member:

Header card

  • Identifier badge.
  • Name and character name.
  • Wardrobe prep time chip and makeup prep time chip.

Measurements

  • Grid of populated measurements: height, weight, chest, waist, hips, inseam, jacket, shirt, trouser, dress, shoe, hat, glove, collar.
  • Empty fields are hidden — the grid only shows what’s been filled in.

Wardrobe

  • Element name and optional description for each wardrobe element associated with the cast member.

Makeup/Hair

  • Element name and optional description for each makeup or hair element.

Shooting Days

  • Wrapped day badges. Hover (or tap) a badge to see the scene numbers that day.

Special Requirements

  • Free-text block with any per-cast requirements.

Variations

Cast info supports multiple variations per scope. There are two scope shapes — the All Cast overview list and each individual cast member’s sheet — and each has its own version picker.

The version picker at the top of the canvas shows the currently viewed variation and exposes a Manage button. Switching between All Cast and a specific cast member re-keys the picker.

Inside Manage variations you can:

  • Create new variation — pick a label and seed mode:
    • Empty draft — no upstream pull.
    • Copy active variation — full duplicate of the active body and any overrides.
    • Fresh snapshot from upstream — pull a new snapshot from current cast/element state.
  • Activate a variation as the primary one for the scope.
  • Rename a variation’s label.
  • Delete a non-active variation (active and sole-remaining variations are protected).

Variations are independent: editing or refreshing one never touches its siblings. The first sync creates the Main variation, which is active.

Exporting

  • Export PDF — Direct PDF download. With All Cast selected this exports the full cast list; with a single cast member selected, just that page.
  • Email — Opens the email dialog (see Reports overview) to send the sheet to recipients.

Empty State

“No cast members found — Add cast elements to the breakdown first.” Cast info comes from cast elements in the breakdown plus the cast list’s measurements.

Tips

  • Keep cast measurements current in the Cast list — that’s the source of truth, and it flows through to this report.
  • Use All Cast for a single bound document; pick individual cast members to make targeted handouts (e.g., for a single wardrobe fitting).
  • The wardrobe/makeup prep time chips help schedule the fitting — they roll up from the elements assigned to the cast member.
