What is SceneItAll?
SceneItAll is a web app for film and television production teams. It brings script management, scene breakdowns, cast and crew coordination, scheduling, and production reports into one project, so your team works from a single source of truth. This page explains what the app does and points you to the first-run guides.

What you can do here
The app is organized into six sections, each with its own overview and task guides:

| Dashboard | A project summary: count pills, KPI rings, a schedule calendar, tasks, shortcuts, and recent activity. |
| Scripts | Read scripts, manage episodes and revisions, and compare versions. |
| Breakdown | Break scenes down into tagged elements such as cast, props, and wardrobe. |
| Crew | Keep cast and crew directories, departments, an availability calendar, and mailing lists. |
| Schedule | Build a strip board, arrange shoot days, try out scenarios, and detect conflicts. |
| Reports | Generate call sheets, sides, production reports, Day Out of Days, one-liners, department lists, cast info sheets, and the full schedule. |

How your data flows
Data in SceneItAll flows in one direction, downstream:
Script → Breakdown → Crew → Schedule → Reports
Each stage reads from the stage before it. Your breakdown reads the script; the schedule reads scenes, breakdowns, and cast; reports read the schedule. Reports are snapshots — they capture upstream state at the moment you refresh them and never write back. To pull your latest changes into a report, re-snapshot it. This means you build from the script outward, and you keep your work current by refreshing downstream, never by editing a report and expecting it to change the script.
Everything is project-scoped. Scripts, crew, schedules, and members belong to one project and never carry over to another automatically.
Identity and access
You sign in through Clerk, the app’s identity provider. SceneItAll never stores your password. See Create your account.
Inside a project, your role — owner, admin, member, or viewer — decides what you can do. See Roles and permissions.
