Export breakdown data
There is no single “export the breakdown” button, and no per-scene breakdown-sheet export. What you can export is the project’s element list — a complete, category-grouped list of every element — plus several reports that draw on your breakdown. This article explains what is available and where to find it.
Export the element list
The element list is the main breakdown export. To create it:
- Open the Elements tab in the breakdown overview.
- Optionally select a type in the category sidebar to export just that category.
- Select Export (available to project Owners and Admins).
- The file is generated and downloaded.
The export lists every element grouped by category. Each element row carries its category, name, identifier, description, the scene numbers it appears in, and its status. The list can be produced as a PDF, XLSX, or CSV; the Export button produces a PDF.

Reports that draw on the breakdown
Several reports read your breakdown and present it for distribution. Find them in the Reports section:
- Department lists — elements filtered by category (props, wardrobe, and so on). See Department lists.
- Cast info sheet — per-cast measurements and elements. See Cast info sheet.
- Sides — script pages for a shooting day, character, or element, optionally with synopses and element tags. See Sides.
- Day Out of Days — the cast and element availability matrix. See Day Out of Days and Export the Day Out of Days.
- One-liner and full-fat schedule — day-by-day schedules carrying breakdown elements. See Reports overview.
Reports are snapshots: each reads your breakdown at the moment you refresh it, so re-snapshot a report to pull through breakdown changes.

The script is exported separately from the breakdown, from the script viewer rather than the breakdown screen. See Read a script.
